What Are They Hiding?

According to a letter from their attorney, the applicant for this rock quarry is something called Western Farm Products Co, LLC. Makes it sound they want to farm, doesn't it? But that "company" was only created in April of this year (about two months ago!) to cover for Hoover, Inc., a well-known operator of rock quarries that was fined for violations at its quarry in Lebanon the same month it created its front company.

Deceit on the front end indicates they cannot be trusted at ANY point during the process. Their attorney dodged every question and kept repeating, "My client will comply with all the State's regulations..." When asked if they will report any significant archaeological or interred remains when found, he appeared uncomfortable and repeated the same canned answer. He's doing precisely what he's been paid to do. We believe if they discovered the aforementioned, they would do their level best to conceal this in order to keep operating. One household's opinion.....

Also, one of their sites near Nashville employs under 50 people. Hardly the quantity of jobs promised here.

If their seismograph is placed where indicated, this would inaccurately record the activity since these are low frequency (long) wavelengths. The helicorder readings should be taken at or beyond the point of a fully developed wave. This is NOT rocket science.

The applicant is assuming our residents are inarticulate pushovers which we are NOT. As Mr. Neal so eloquently stated: "You've swatted a hornet's nest here."
